Well I sucessfully changed my timing belt & stuff. Thanks for tech writeup and anyone who helped me on here. Started wed. morning and finished fri. afternoon. took me @24 working hours to do. This was my first real big mechanical work to the Z, or any car for that matter, and all went pretty smooth. I have no more coolent leaks,a new(dry & properly working) alternator, and a new timing belt(changed other stuff too, but no need for a list). I still do have a small oil leak though, even after changed front seals(suspect oil pan, or replaced a seal bad/wrong). But after a long 100 mile round trip to moroso, I only had a drop or two. Before the change, the same trip left me with a soaked undercarrage and a messy driveway. So I'm pretty happy The show was Sunday @ moroso in palm beach. Went there with the SFZCC, and had a nice turn out. Here are a few pics:
